| okay kids listen up MY BIRTHDAY IS IN A WEEK. and two days.
I'm pretty sure I am going to drag all my friends to see Meet the Robinsons to celebrate.

| so hey. I've been back in Florida for the past week! Golly gee it sure is great to be back. Seriously. Wow. It just feels like I've never been gone.
Anyway, we went to our character audition today and surprise, I got pooled again. Yeah, it's the same thing as last year - I made it, but they don't need anyone my height. So hopefully something will open up within the next six months, or I'll have to go audition again. Also, I didn't get called back for face, which made me very sad. There were several other girls who did get called back and approved, but not me this time. I was trying harder to look crazy and animated than princessy though, so I was making all these weird faces instead of trying to look pretty. At least I like to tell myself that's the reason. Oh well, there's always the fall. I know I'll get something someday.
I didn't get anything at the Tokyo audition either and I didn't really expect anything but HOLY GEEEZ YOU GUYS I WANT TO DO THAT SO BAD. Someday. Hopefully. I'm going to keep auditioning and pray they need me.
I mean, come on. Today was what, my fourth and fifth auditions??? For crying out loud. I think it's time to GET something already.
Ungh. I'm not really that upset. I know I'll have a super fabulous time working at GMR this summer.
But.
Still.

| So, here are some things that are officially happening in my life:
1. I am officially going to Disney for a week in a half in March! I'll be working at GMR during that time and I'm also going to an Entertainment audition while I'm there. Again.
2. I am officially moving to Florida for good in August. Well, by "for good" I mean "until the next year when I (hopefully) go to art school," but I'll have a car then, so it'll be about as for good as you can get.
3. I am officially trying to get in shape for my audition, again. Ha! Ha! We'll see how long this lasts.
4. I am officially really, really wishing I were moving to Florida right this second. But! -
5. I am officially going in for an interview at the Library Center tomorrow! So hopefully if I get the job that will help keep my mind off pining over Disney until it's actually time to go.

| Merry Christmas everybody. :)
I was all alone in Florida at this time last year, so this was my first waking-up-on-Christmas-morning-with-the-family Christmas in what feels like ages. It was wonderful. I was worried because I wasn't really "feeling Christmassy" over the past few weeks but really... that's such a dumb thing to try to do. You just kind of have to let it come.
I'm so glad I got to be home for Christmas... I really do love my family and enjoy spending time with them and I know that's a rare blessing. We might not get as many presents as a lot of kids but it always seems like more than enough because everything always means so much more.
But speaking of presents!!!
um yeah... I got a freakin IPOD NANO!!!! 2GB, so I kind of had to pick and choose my music, but I think I'll survive somehow.
Anna got me A Series of Unfortunate Events on DVD, and Laurel got me The Thief and the Cobbler, in this really super amazing special edition with a POP-UP CASTLE in the front of the SLIPCOVER. yeah. amazing.
My parents also got me a pair of really nice sewing scissors, and a Narnia calendar, and a plastic case and radio transmitter for the iPod. Oh, and a wonderful assortment of leg coverings: two kinds of stripey kneesocks, one pair of argyle kneesocks, a pair of argyle legwarmers, and a pair of houndstooth leggings. yup, houndstooth. So I am all set!!!!
